Swallow The Sun share second live track and video for »66,50’N,28,40’E«
Finnish melodic doom/death metal act Swallow The Sun share second live track and video for »66,50’N,28,40’E« from their brand new live album, »20 Years Of Gloom, Beauty And Despair – Live in Helsinki«, which was just released last Friday, July 30th, 2021 via Century Media Records.
“We were supposed to play anniversary shows in Europe and North America,” vocalist Mikko Kotamäki recalls. “We started our European tour in Finland in February 2020 and played 10 gigs. Everything got canceled two weeks after that. Luckily, we filmed and recorded our gig in Helsinki. Now, everyone can see it. At the time, we didn’t know the footage or recordings would be used for this purpose.”
Recorded live on February 26th, 2020 at Tavastia Club, Helsinki on their 20th anniversary tour. The first eight tracks are an acoustic set featuring the entire second disc of the »Songs From The North« album. The other songs were selected via a fan poll on social media asking for their favourite tracks from the remaining albums in their catalogue.
