The new album »Meadowlands« and the second chapter of »The Moon Mother Saga« is a powerful development of their previous released works. They have recorded and self-produced the album once again in their home but this time they collaborated with the drummer Robert Hall who gave it all a heartbeat. Then they teamed up with Hans Olsson at Svenska Grammofonstudion who put the cherry on the cake of it all with a majestic mix and master of it. The final work is a massive, hauntingly beautiful and dark journey through the spiral of life, the decay and rot of autumn, the heavy death of winter and the glimmering rays of the first sunrise of spring. An enchanted dance between hope and despair that’s hiding in the holes of grief, deep isolation, surviving sexual abuse, addiction and intergenerational trauma but still finding ways to hold on and keep fighting.

“It’s an enchanting, somewhat mystical album, rich with intricate arrangements that reveal more with each listen. Sit back and take in the majestic »World In A Glass Jar« to hear for yourself.” — Americana UK
On their second album »Meadowlands« they consolidate their position as the country’s leading slowcore band. And the least noticed, it should be added. With slow rock, ingredients of folk and melancholy, the couple Sara Mehner and Patriec Ahlström manage to fill a void within slow music that is not clearly represented anywhere else. 5/5″ — Mats Lundgren Blog
“There are albums that you sense are something special after just one minute. »Meadowlands«, the second album by the duo Moon Mother, is one of them. When »High Houses« first soars into its chorus, the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end and stay that way until the song fades away. Afterwards, there’s a brief moment to pause and reflect: What just happened? And why doesn’t anyone know this band? Album of the week 8/10” — Plattentests.de
“Mehner’s ability to wring out the most emotion out of a song or melody rivals that of Chelsea Wolfe or Emma Ruth Rundle in terms of performance and power. The way her gentle wailing closes out the title track stirs up so many raw emotions that will have you feeling both heartbreak and catharsis, no matter how it manifests within you. 4/5” — Angry Metal Guy
“In a world of turbulence you may even find a haven here. I love this, I truly do.” — Walking The Liminal Space
“»Meadowlands« is one the the most honest, evocative and meaningful things I have heard in a long, long time, and I’m deeply in awe of what this duo has pulled off on what is ultimately only their second album.” — Sounds From The Dark Side
“A work of rare beauty and intensity.” — Grind On The Road
