Misty Mountain was formed in January 2022 when Nicklas Jansson (Stew) and Mikael Andersson met in a pub and started discussing the possibilities of writing songs for a heavy rock project influenced by artists such as Dio, Ozzy, Iron Maiden, etc.

Having worked and played together in the past they had great chemistry, and songwriting soon began very rapidly, with »Caught In The Demon Eye« being the first track recorded.
