Swedish heavy rockers Electric Spark (formerly known as Dead Man’s Dirt) premiere first single »Slapwalker«

Gothenburg, Sweden based heavy rock band Electric Spark (formerly known as Dead Man’s Dirt) premiere their first single »Slapwalker«, released on April 4th, 2026.

Guitarist Anders Harning comments: “Dead Man’s Dirt has changed its name to Electric Spark after a change of drummer and some changes in style musically. We have begun to take advantage of the fact that we have a brilliant organist in Hampus and let him take the turns more. Then our new drummer Jens added a lot of, almost punkish, energy and power which is a boost.

First brand new song, »Slapwalker«, is out on Bandcamp now. More to come!

This spring, you can see us in Trollhättan at Backstage Rockbar together with the superb Mammuthus on 17/4, the following weekend in Eskilstuna at Gammaldags Saturday on 25/4 and on 9/5 in Ringön at Two Fat Pigs.”

Electric Spark is a five-piece heavy rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Their music is influenced by heavy blues rock of the seventies, stoner, doom and lots of other stuff.
