Spacedrifter is a heavy rock band influenced by 90’s alternative rock and takes inspiration from bands such as Queens Of The Stone Age, Nirvana, Alice In Chains and Kyuss, combined with a healthy mix of other genres as well, such as punk, blues, psychedelic rock and doom. The band was formed in 2019 by a group of friends cranking their amps to eleven and rocking out in the evenings. Spacedrifter consists of bassist Olle Söderberg, drummer Isac Löfgren and guitarists John Söderberg and Adam Hante.

The band produces and records all songs by themselves in their own studio. In the summer of 2020, they released their first single »Cabin Fever«. That same summer, the band recorded their self-titled EP, which was released on January 1st 2021. Since then, new music has been in the making.

The upcoming album »When The Colors Fade« is released on April 5th. It is Spacedrifter’s first full-length album. They have released their first preview »Buried In Stone«, a heavy, grungy, hard hitting song, which is the first single from the album. On March 1st the second single »Through The Desert« was released. It is a melancholic, riff heavy song and it is the second and final single from »When The Colors Fade« and is available now on all streaming platforms.

The album is recorded and mixed at the band’s own studio Bonkan with additional string instruments recorded at Gura Studios. It was mastered by Thomas “Plec” Johansson at The Panic Room Studio.
