The wait is almost over. Swedish retro rock sensation Spiders are back with a bang, releasing their latest single, »Mess With My Emotions«, as the final teaser before their highly anticipated new album »Sharp Objects« sees the light of day on February 14th, 2025 via Wild Kingdom Records. The icing on this musical cake is the colourful and vibrant video that is also released now.
True to the band’s signature style, »Mess With My Emotions« fuses nostalgic seventies vibes with a fresh, modern edge. The track showcases an electric interplay between John Hoyles’ masterful guitar work and the powerhouse vocals of Ann-Sofie Hoyles. Together, they create a sound that’s both deeply rooted in classic rock and unmistakably relevant for today’s music scene.

Ann-Sofie Hoyles shares her thoughts on the single: “Our time is precious, our emotions are sacred, and there’s a fine line between happiness and madness. No one is a total master of their own universe, so take care of your own mind and thoughts, and don’t mess up anybody’s emotions.”
»Mess With My Emotions« is available on all major streaming platforms.
The release of their previous single »What’s Your Game (Miss Insane)« marks another milestone for the band. The single, with its relentless energy and catchy hooks, captures the essence of Spiders’ musical ethos: bold, unapologetic, and bursting with personality. The accompanying video elevates the experience, delivering a visual feast that perfectly complements the track’s raw edge and electrifying spirit.
Ann-Sofie comments on the song: “Everybody knows a Miss Insane and everybody is a Miss Insane now and then. We all need them, we all love them, we all hate them but what would life be without a Miss Insane now and then.”
Mark your calendars for the album release on the 14th of February, and prepare to experience Spiders like never before.
