Doomherre unveil lyric video for »This Burning Guilt« – a crushing doom metal confession!

Stockholm, Sweden – Swedish traditional doom titans Doomherre have unleashed the official lyric video for their devastating single »This Burning Guilt«, the second offering from their upcoming full-length album »Plaguelords«. The video is now live on YouTube, giving fans a grim, immersive look into the track’s themes of shame, sorrow, and spiritual decay.

Rooted in the classic doom foundations of Trouble, Candlemass, and The Obsessed , Doomherre deliver a slow-burning, riff-laden plunge into darkness, enriched with murky sludge textures and tortured, soul-bearing vocals. »This Burning Guilt« stands as a monumental statement of despair – both sonically massive and emotionally raw.

Produced, mixed, and engineered by guitarist/vocalist Victor Takala, and mastered by Björn Iversen , the track stays true to the band’s fiercely DIY ethos. As Takala explains:

“We wanted this video to not just show the lyrics, but to drag you deeper into the weight of the song. Every word here is meant to be felt.”

Formed in Stockholm, Doomherre’s lineup – Victor Takala (Eyekon, Katatonia session work), Daniel Strachal (Blindfold, Duelbarrel, Brainwarp), and Max Collin (Votary, Lobotomy, Scars) – brings decades of underground metal experience to the table, forging a sound that’s both steeped in tradition and unflinchingly personal.

Following their praised debut Bonegoat, the upcoming »Plaguelords« marks a deeper, heavier, and more uncompromising evolution for the band.
