Küssnacht, Switzerland based heavy rock quartet Mörzer presents their self-titled debut album, which was released on August 26th, 2022 via Monobuster Records.

The band Mörzer was formed between 2017 and 2018 from numerous jam sessions with musicians around central Switzerland. After that, they rehearsed regularly, worked on song material and played some live gigs.

The music of Mörzer can be classified as heavy rock. Various influences from the beginnings of heavy metal to rock’n’roll, jazz, desert rock and blues form a doomy, constantly driving sound. Sometimes fast like a hurricane, sometimes slow like a bulldozer. Always full of energy, even if pressure is sometimes allowed to drop a little to make room for finer tones.

Mörzer take you on a trip into the deep abysses of the world and back again. The music forms in a blast wave full of deep guitar sounds, driving drums and catchy melodies, once released Mörzer shoot unstoppable towards the detonation.

In the summer of 2020, the band visited the legendary Foolpark studio in Lucerne to record the songs for their debut album. Due to circumstances like Corona and the huge demand for vinyl, the production of the record was delayed. Until finally the Swiss company Adon put their brand new pressing plant into operation and finished their album as the third production in early summer 2022.
