Godes Yrre is back with a new album that brings together the three EPs released in 2024, remixed and remastered. Digging into human emotions is the guiding thread of each song, touching on mythological figures and history at the same time. Godes Yrre continues into the stoner and gothic path with guest musicians on each song and opens the doors to what is already the new sound and aesthetic of this especial band, born in 1994 like a side-project from Cuban cult band Sectarium and reborn in Switzerland in 2017, with influences from industrial, ethnic and classical music, now also adding a gothic and stoner touch.

Godes Yrre released the demo »A Divine Image« in 1994 and then plunged into silence. The one-man band was created back to 1994, when Abel Oliva was part of the death/doom/grind band Sectarium. After more than 20 years sleeping in shadows, Oliva now relocated in Switzerland, released in 2017 the full album »Inside The Whale«, pure doom metal with an industrial touch. In 2018 released »Ghost Warriors«, an album even more dark with a great influence of death/doom but still maintaining the industrial touches that give it a modern and avant-garde air.
The cabalistic cycle was closed with »Das Nichts«, an album released in 2020, delving into the deep wound of the souls. Epic, violent, gothic. From the heaviest doom to the deadliest death/black, with a strong industrial touch. This third production closes the numerological cycle of three albums containing seven songs of seven minutes each and adding three editions in three years. It addresses the myth of hell through dissimilar cultures around the world, and the anguish and sufferings of those who are condemned to endless torture. In 2021 the band publishes a symphonic album with songs from the previous albums rearranged for orchestral format.
After a break of almost two years, in 2023 released a double compilation album that includes all the songs from the previous albums with new arrangements, remixed and remastered. In 2024, a cycle of three EPs of three six-minute songs each begins, with the premise of including guest musicians for the first time, and exploring a path with a lot of stoner and gothic. The project was expected to culminate in 2025, gathering the three EPs into one album entitled »Feelings Can Burn You«, with all the songs remixed and remastered. Godes Yrre is a band conceived to release studio albums and therefore does not have tour dates now, which we would not rule out doing in the near future.
