Umoora is an instrumental post-rock band from Switzerland, founded in 2021. Umoora’s instrumental music is characterized by raw energy that is released after intense build-ups. The band is known for its ability to create intense atmospheres that are both powerful and introspective. Umoora combines impressive guitar melodies with driving rhythms that take listeners on an emotional journey. Their music tells stories without words, and each composition is a carefully crafted work that captivates listeners.

On their debut LP »This Machine Will Kill Us«, Umoora combines heavy riffs with cathartic melodies. The title track opener, followed by »Dusterwald«, build up intensity after an atmospheric start, while the single »New Shores« strikes a melancholic note and invites listeners to dream. »Black Doors« comes across heavier and with rhythmic power – the heaviest track on the album, embodies everything that defines Umoora. »The Passage«, on the other hand, is a continuous crescendo that ends wildly. After the quiet interlude »Strategy Tragedy«, »Empire – Collapse!« opens with an electronic beat: a catching, melodic song that culminates in an epic finale and conveys hope.
»This Machine Will Kill Us« is a record of soft contrasts – between heavy sound and atmospheric vastness, soundscapes are created that get right under your skin.
The album will be released in May 2026. Pre-order HERE.
