But they also remind us of the impossible, the distant, the out of reach. This song offers a moment of stillness above the noise of life, a breath taken far from the rush below. Yet even at the top, we’re reminded of a simple truth: we can’t stay there forever. Without others, without the world, even the highest peak feels empty.”

If you know These Hands Melt, you know there’s always lots of music coming up, and this also means we significantly slowed down signing new bands. But this is an announcement, a band, a release that has been so long in the making and rightly so, because it’s massive and ambitious music. So, let’s finally announce we signed Switzerland’s new big thing Brévine!
Brévine is a post-metal band from Lausanne, founded in 2023. The band offers deep and authentic music, composed to be felt and experienced like an inner journey. Oscillating between soaring instrumental post-rock, nostalgic and sometimes melancholic blackgaze and massive post-hardcore, the band blends pop and electronic influences as well as classical elements. Brévine’s music is immersive and mesmerizing – sometimes hard and dense like stone, sometimes airy and fluid like water. Brévine’s debut album »LHOTSE« will be released on September 12, 2025.
