Swiss post-metal quartet Impure Wilhelmina welcomes new guitarist!

Guitarist Diogo Almeida recently decided to leave Swiss post-metal quartet Impure Wilhelmina. He was replaced by Edouard Nicod.

The band comments: “After ten years with the band, our friend and guitarist Diogo Almeida has recently decided to leave Impure Wilhelmina, due to lack of time. Two albums and an EP recorded together, as well as many tours and shows in Europe: we are very grateful for this long involvement and these intense years shared within Impure Wilhelmina. We wish him all the best for the future, especially with our brothers in arms Rorcal!

As we have no will to rest, we are delighted to announce the arrival of Edouard Nicod on guitar! Our paths had never crossed before this autumn, even though Ed is no newcomer to our regional scene. Check out his other main musical project, Algebra! We’re looking forward to opening this new chapter together, starting with a European tour in February 2024. A new album is also on the way.
