Swiss spheric rock trio Birdlord return with »Where Do You Lead«, the third and final single taken from their debut album »Dreams Lie In The Eagle’s Eye«, arriving September 25th, 2026 via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records on deluxe limited colored vinyl and digital.

»Where Do You Lead« is about a moment almost everyone has experienced: standing at a crossroads without knowing where the next decision will take you. The song explores the fragile space between a relationship and your own self-doubt – between wanting to trust someone and being haunted by the critical voices inside your own mind.

Musically, it begins as an intimate, vulnerable ballad before gradually expanding into a wall of fuzz, distortion and layered vocal harmonies. With every repetition of the same question – “Where does this lead?” – the intensity grows until all voices merge into one.

The song doesn’t try to provide answers. Instead, it embraces uncertainty and allows emotional chaos to exist (it’s a rollercoaster!). Sometimes, you simply have to take the next step before you discover where the road actually leads.

Since forming in Bern in late 2023, Birdlord have rapidly evolved from an ambitious underground project into one of the most compelling new names in the European psychedelic and progressive rock scene. The current lineup featuring Lily Lord, Gaia Giacomelli and Köbi Ferber has refined the band’s sound into something sharper, heavier and emotionally layered, balancing explosive energy with atmospheric depth.
