Birdlord is a swiss rock trio, blending progressive and psychedelic rock into a dense, high-energy sound. Fuzz-driven riffs meet atmospheric textures, driving grooves and unexpected dynamic shifts. Their songs move between power and vulnerability, carried by multilingual lyrics in Spanish and English that remain intense without becoming melodramatic.

Founded in late 2023 by guitarist Lily Lord and drummer Gaia Giacomelli – long-time musical collaborators – the band quickly turned their shared vision into reality, releasing the EPs »Snake Charmer« and »Serpents Prayer« within their first year.

A defining moment came in summer 2025 with the arrival of bassist Köbi Ferber, completing the trio and sharpening their sonic identity. Since then, their sound has evolved into something more precise, heavier and dynamically layered.

With their debut album »Dreams Lie In The Eagle’s Eye«, Birdlord unveils a sharper, bolder, and more defined sound. Across eight tracks, the record unfolds as a cohesive journey. From the urgent longing to reconnect with nature (»The Birds Don’t Sing They Screech In Pain«), through moments of despair, toward renewed hope and an unshakable belief in the joy of life, The eagle could soar above it all yet it rides and takes the harder road. Not out of limitation, but by choice. A quiet reminder that freedom is not defined by expectation, but by intention. At its core lies a powerful message: self-love.
