Tales Of Mike announces new single »Human Masquerade« feat. Gonzalo Civita & Henrik Schaller to be released October 4th!

German epic doom/heavy metal solo artist Tales Of Mike has announced new single »Human Masquerade«, which is coming out October 4th, 2024. New single features Gonzalo Civita on vocals and Henrik Schaller on guitar.

Born in 1972, Michael Heß discovered his love for metal at the age of 10, when he ran past a radio which played »I Love Rock ‘N Roll« by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. Thus, he developed a true passion also e-guitars. Before buying his own guitar, Michael played on his late brother’s guitar just for fun, without any knowledge about musical notes. In 2003, he finally bought his first e-guitar which started a whole new era for Michael. Years of practice, fun and more followed.

In December 2022, Michael started recording demo songs for the first time. He made it his mission to write a tribute song to his late brother Markus Heß and eventually got into touch with Gonzalo Civita from the bands HelėH, Tribal who agreed to sing to this song. Their work went really well and good memories and fun led to them establishing even more songs together. Michaels first EP, the »Landscape Of Sorrow« EP, was released on the 9th August 2023, on Markus Heß’ birthday, given the fact it is also dedicated to him.

Unfortunately, not everything was positive while he was working on the tribute EP. Some people changed because he was suddenly making music. People who also knew his brother. That disappointed him at first. Then he actually felt sorry for them, because envy destroys a lot of people. Many people don’t like it when others are happy. He sees again and again that there are people who are happy when somebody makes mistakes or is unhappy.

That gave him the impetus for the new upcoming single »Human Masquerade« that is coming out October 4th followed by a lyric video and the drive for the new album will be released in 2025.
