Tangled Horns faced a transformative journey while creating their latest record amidst a changing world. Despite being physically separated, their writing and recording styles evolved, capturing the struggles of the times and their personal challenges.

Reflecting on the completed album, Tangled Horns realized it’s their most personal and introspective work – a coping album born from the unique circumstances.

Igniting the flames of resurgence, »April Fire« symbolizes the world’s reopening, capturing the fervor and the underlying unease experienced by Tangled Horns. As individuals, the band underwent transformation during these times, navigating the challenges hand in hand and emerging stronger.

Unveiling as the 6th single, »April Fire« comes accompanied by a new video, with live footage (filmed and edited by Kim Vreys – Bucho Video Productions) mixed with shots (Television) by Kris Martens and Raf Vorsselmans, setting the stage for Tangled Horns’ upcoming album »Lighter«. Scheduled for release on January 26th, 2024 on PolderRecords.

A strong willed, independent, alternative rockband from Belgium with a fierce live reputation juggling garage rock, grunge and stoner drenched in 90’s vibe.

Tangled Horns played festivals such as Roadburn, Desertfest, Alcatraz Open Air; toured in Germany, The Netherlands and the UK; and played support shows for the likes of Clutch, Red Fang and Fu Manchu.

Their last album, Superglue For The Broken, was produced by Pieter Kloos (Motorpsycho, The Devil’s Blood, Peter Pan Speedrock, Dool) who is also involved in the production of a new album, currently in the works.

Aardschok Magazine once said about Tangled Horns: “Brutal and grotesk stoner violence that measures up to the best of Melvins and Clutch, the altrock of Barkmarket and the catchy grunge of Nirvana.”
