Seum comments: “When Black Throne reached out to propose us a split record with occult kings Temple Of The Fuzz Witch, we took some time to reflect on how we could make this project cohesive while being so different musically – Temple Of The Fuzz Witch is pure doom while our music is more urban and gritty – digging back to past traumas was our answer to get into the right creative mood.
»Conjuring« is an opportunity to invoke and overcome some of our intimate issues, past (disability in »Dead Ear«, addiction in »Éfrit«) or present (aging in »Problems«), we are excited to share this different, darker side of Seum with you today.
For the cover we worked with the French tattoo artist Cloporte with whom we had already collaborated on a Winterized tape release while Chris Fielding, known for his work on Conan, took care of the mastering.”

Rising from the depths of Michigan’s underground, Temple Of The Fuzz Witch returns with »Conjuring«, a punishing new three track split release with Seum. Fusing the crushing weight of Electric Wizard, the bleak fury of Dissection, and the twisted sludge of Acid Bath , the band continues to redefine the blackened doom metal genre with an unrelenting sonic assault.
With riffs as cold and merciless as a Michigan winter, »Conjuring« is a ritual of darkness, blending eerie melodies, suffocating doom, and occult-driven atmospheres. This release sees Temple Of The Fuzz Witch bringing together sounds that is both crushing and hypnotic.
More than just a doom release, »Conjuring« is an invocation of blackened fury, a descent into gloom and despair that lingers long after the final note fades. Fans of suffocating doom and haunting soundscapes will find themselves ensnared in its bleak embrace.
