Just a month after the most recent single, »The Clockwork Man«, the Dallas, TX, Warhog are putting out the recording of their live show. »Live Voyage« was tracked on December 10th in their hometown O’Riley’s Pub.
Warhog is a 4-piece heavy metal group from Dallas, Texas formed in 2020. Their music is a mighty storm where the thunder pounds with the rhythms of Black Sabbath, the wind assails with the power of Iron Maiden, and the lightning strikes with the intensity of Dio. Decidedly metal, their music is full of melody, story, energy, and drama, but is accessible to all audiences. The songs that would become their debut record, »Call Of The Voyager«, took shape remotely in the early days of the pandemic. While some of the best stories involve a hero running off to adventure unprepared, Warhog made the most of a world shut down and poured their energy into a singularly focused work of music.
With a run time of 74 minutes, »Call Of The Voyager« is the epic story of a warrior prophesied to defeat ancient evil in faraway lands. It is a story of pride and the failure that follows it, and it is a story of redemption and finding peace. After 18 months of writing, rehearsing, and recording, »Call Of The Voyager« was released to streaming platforms worldwide in August of 2022.
