Swedish rockers The Hawkins share a lyric video for the brand new digital single »Svääng«. This is the first single from the mini-album, »Aftermath«, which will be released in the fall on 12″ vinyl via The Sign Records.

Lead vocalist and guitarist Johannes Carlsson on the new single: “At that time I had no hope, no future, no money and I saw everyone driving past me. So I started deeply scratching my forehead while screaming in panic. 10 minutes later I’m walking like a zombie. The angst morphed into frustration and I went to the studio to write and record »Svääng«. I jumped around in the studio with a blood-splattered forehead, legs shaking and screaming while playing every instrument. It was one of the most cathartic experiences I’ve ever had.”
