Weiz, Austria based doom/sludge/crust duo Thosar stream their debut album, »Omega«, released on November 20th, 2020 via Grazil Records.

Thosar is an Austrian sludge metal band which was founded by the beginning of 2020. Thosar got started because they only wanted to jam besides their oder music projects. Robert plays the drums for Justice Lost, Young Fat Mothers and for some gigs for Fat Religion. Michael plays bass for Mandaground and also realized a solo projekt which is called Resument. One day Justice Lost had to cancel their gig at a club called Wakuum in Graz. So Thosar decided to ask, if it was possible to join this event instead of Justice Lost. They prepared an half an hour of a jam set in one day, which they presented live at club Wakuum. So Thosar started to get shape. Songs were written down, first recordings were progressed and the jams changed into rehearsals. Whilst first COVID-19 lockdown they recorded all the songs they have written over the time. Robert prepared an alternative cozy drum recording setting close to his couch and sent professionel files to use for the album. Michael recorded the bass and vocals at the rehearsal room in Weiz. Their first album called »Omega« was released by the label Grazil Records on November 20th, 2020. It’s available in digital format on Bandcamp or you can get yourself a CD through Grazil Records.
