Toad Phoenix to replace Weedpecker at Pietrasonica Fest in Italy this weekend!

Polish stoner rockers Weedpecker recently canceled their summer tour, so they won’t be performing at this year’s Pietrasonica Fest in Osoppo, Italy. The organisers added local swamp stoner band Toad Phoenix to play on Saturday and Vicenza-based psychedelic stoner trio Desert Wave was moved to Friday’s bill.

Pietrasonica Fest crew states: “Dear Sonic Friends, some of you will have noticed.

Due to the cancellation of their summer tour, Weedpecker will not be on our stage this Friday. A few weeks before the festival research was not easy.

So we decided to move Desert Wave as first band on Friday and to add local swamp stoner band Toad Phoenix on Saturday afternoon.”

The northeastern stoner & psychedelic landmark celebrates its 13th ride around the sun with two days of heavy weight, fuzz-oriented international bands!

Pietrasonica Fest will take place on August 5th and 6th, 2022 at Parco della Colonia in Osoppo (UD), Italy.
