Tel Aviv, Israel based gothic doom metal band Tomorrow’s Rain premiere new single and lyric video »Roads« featuring Heljarmadr of Dark Funeral and Tony Wakeford of Sol Invictus.

»Roads« is the second single taken from the band’s upcoming full-length album, »Ovdan«, set to release on April 19th, 2024 via AOP Records.

With just over a month to go before Israeli gothic doom metal band Tomorrow’s Rain releases their highly anticipated sophomore album, »Ovdan«, the band has revealed their latest single »Roads«, which features Heljarmadr of Dark Funeral and Tony Wakefored of Sol Invictus.

Commenting on the track, vocalist Yishai Sweartz says: “I think »Roads« is the song i would play to someone who wants to know what we are all about, it contains various elements from different musical worlds and the blend brings something unique to the table. It’s who we are in 8 min if you are curious.”

The band’s sophomore album »Ovdan«, which is Hebrew for “Loss”, marks the return of vocalist Yishai Sweartz who suffered a near fatal heart attack and open heart surgery in early 2023. After nearly losing everything, Swartz and crew have emerged with resilient spirit and creative force on their most dynamic and ambitious record yet.

The eagerly awaited record, »Ovdan«, features guest collaborators from Mayhem, Sol Invictus, Dark Funeral, Mercyful Fate and Sisters Of Mercy to name a few.

Sweartz recently said of the record: “The album was written and recorded during a dark period in our lives and the creative process was in fact our cure to get back to life after several traumatic events we faced, musically we pushed the boundaries and yet kept the vision started in our debut album »Hollow« (2020). We hope that »Ovdan« will light a candle at the edge of the tunnel for you as it did to us.”

About Tomorrow’s Rain:
Hailing from Tel Aviv, Israel, the band united under the Tomorrow’s Rain moniker in 2011 and went on to make their worldwide debut in 2020 with their initial album, »Hollow«. The record featured impressive collaborations with members from My Dying Bride, Moonspell, Rotting Christ, Septicflesh, Paradise Lost, Orphaned Land and Arch Enemy among others.

»Ovdan« is the second chapter in Tomorrow’s Rain unique journey, the material pushes boundaries further yet keep the band’s spirit intact.
