Transylvanian Recordings have posthumously released a self-titled album from Portland, Oregon based grunge/alternative rock band Prosody.
»Prosody« was released on February 12th, 2024 and is available now on cassette tape and digitally.

Before Livssyke, Tar Pit, Arlone & Coffin Rot, there was a glorious period in time in the early 2000’s when rock bands reigned supreme and were still the unmatched kings of music. Prosody was a heavy/alternative post-grunge band from Portland (Oregon), that was born, raised and shaped by a true love of bands like Seether, Staind, Silverchair, Crossfade, Alice In Chains and so many more colossal rock bands in and around their stomping grounds of the Pacific Northwest.
The self-titled release was recorded professionally and shelved for many years due to a tragedy within the band. Posthumously it was decided that these recordings should see the light of day. In my personal opinion this is my favorite thing the players have created and im honored to have the opportunity to push something like this out into the world because i know how much it means to the creators and how much i personally love this album. It hits close to home for me and I am thrilled to get to share this with you all.
This is an infectious listen that just takes over, I’ve listened to these songs an ungodly amount of times either thru my speakers or over and over in my brain because the songs are stuck on repeat in my mind. It scratches so many right itches. I hope you folks give it the time of day.
