Following the success of their latest full-length release »Distortions« in August 2023, UK-based doom metal powerhouse Godthrymm has returned with a mesmerizing new offering in the form of a two-track EP titled »The Light«, now available via Profound Lore Records.

Comprised of seasoned members with past affiliations to renowned acts like My Dying Bride, Anathema, Vallenfyre, and Solstice, Godthrymm’s latest creation serves as a potent precursor to their forthcoming album, »Projections«.

Hamish Glencross, member of Godthrymm, shares his enthusiasm for this new musical chapter: “More heavy bloody beautiful metal and glorious colossal doom to be had; we are very excited to share some new Godthrymm music with you! These two songs serve as a bridge between last year’s »Distortions« album, and our forthcoming »Projections« album. Further expanding upon our sound and sonic palette, these new songs continue to mix heavy riffage and strong epic harmony and melancholic melody.
