London, UK based doom/sludge metal outfit Black Shape presents their new EP, »Drinking (The Morning After)«, which was just released on February 28th, 2026 via Rat Run Records. It features five tracks of unreleased material from the »Drinking« recording sessions.

Black Shape is a doom/sludge metal band from London, UK. Primary a “doom primitivism” duo featuring David Burdis (vocals, guitar) and Andrew Cleaver (drums). Formed as a side project to the psych-punk group Flowers Of Evil, the band serves as a creative outlet for Burdis’s “overflowing” musical ideas. Cleaver is also a member of the collective Mummise Guns alongside musicians from Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs.
