UK doomy progressive rock band Dark Matter released new full-length album »The Neighbourhood Watch«; out now via Under Siege Records!

Diss, UK based doomy progressive rock project Dark Matter stream their fifth full-length album, »The Neighbourhood Watch«, which was just released on August 9th, 2024 via Under Siege Records.

Dark Matter’s bass player Gary Aubert sadly passed away just the night before the release.

The band commented: “We have to bring you the devastating news of the loss of our brother Gary Aubert, who sadly passed this morning. We can’t quite believe this and are in shock. Gary was a wonderful man and everybody loved him.

On the eve of the release of our new album, we bring you this sad news. We know that Gary was excited and really looking forward to the new release, so we hope you all enjoy it in his memory.

RIP Gary.”

Dark Matter are a UK based progressive rock studio project. Their music would be described as dark, doomy, progressive, hard rock/metal. Originally the solo project of Dave Gilbert, becoming a two piece for two albums. Dark Matter is now a three piece project and has progressed dramatically in sound.
