Desolate Pathway is an epic traditional doom band formed in 2014 in Kent (UK).
The band started out as a four piece founded by former Pagan Altar guitarist Vinny Konrad. The lyrics and music cover fantasy and myth based stories of quests, death, doom and destruction, all within heavy riff based doom and melodic atmospheric passages.
»Visions In Death« has been 5 years in the making. Taking a slight directional change from the previous 2 albums, now being 10 years ago, as time passes therefore influences, experience and feelings change.
»Visions In Death« brings guitar driven melancholic doom, layered with epic guitar leads and harmonies with real life pain, suffering and despair while intense feel and passion enters every note. It is written around the subject of demons and dark, malevolent entities.
Songs like »The Dark Prince« and »Vampire’s Kiss« bring vibe of Dracula and a female vampire that seduces her prey. Then the »Creeper« and »Beasts Of Doom« tell stories of creatures that hunt in the night.
This album gives you everything in an epic doom presentation that will take you on a journey or pain, suffering and euphoria.
