Brighton, UK based female-fronted alternative rockers Slung have unveiled new single and music video »Class A Cherry« taken from their debut album, »In Ways«, set to release on May 2nd, 2025.

Slung feel like they’re meant to be. The mostly-Brighton-based band’s debut single »Neurotic« is the sound of a tight-knit and driven unit, working together in harmony, with some delicious dissonance thrown in.

A tight-knit crew of the formerly gifted and talented, Slung deliver blistering riffs, sinister drums and sickly sweet vocals, all wrapped up in a tasty tortellini of 90’s slacker rock nostalgia.

Citing influences as diverse as MJ Lenderman & Mannequin Pussy to Black Sabbath and Scissor Sisters, Slung’s mish-mash magic conjures a unique and memorable sound, like something you can’t quite put your finger on, but it leaves entranced.
