Huddersfield, UK based four-piece sludge band Nowt presents their second EP, entitled »Industrial Desolation«, which was just released on October 31st, 2024.

»Industrial Desolation« EP is available now on Spotify and all major streaming platforms!

Tracklist:
01. Lie
02. Existence
03. Storm Swarm
04. Machine

Nowt comments: “»Industrial Desolation« finally live on all streaming networks. Tunecore lagging like a 90s BBC acorn floppy disk computer with the upload speed. But it’s finally everywhere.

4 tracks of nihilistic hate filled angry sludge from the forgotten underfunded and poverty rife Yorkshire area of Huddersfield in northern England.”

“Fetid sludge from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.”

Having plied their disdainful toil across the breadth of Britain during ’23-’24, Nowt have now extricated their second EP from a diseased bladder of black bile, and christened it »Industrial Desolation« (released on 31/10/24). The sound has darkened; moving away from more traditional doom roots. Christian, Dean, Phil and David have the sounds of Corrupted, Primitive Man, Swans, Gruel, Khanate and Melvins grafted onto their darkened hearts, always striving to expand and flagellate their obdurate, sonic repulsiveness. Live shows have intensified and many friends have been made following last year’s release of »Eternal Punishment«. Future plans include more noise, destruction and nihilism via any sonic means available…this is all just the dire beginning.

Courageously recorded by Kurt Wood at Cornerhouse Studios Keighley.
