Crewe, UK based garage rock/heavy blues trio The King’s Pistol has announced colored vinyl edition of their latest EP »I Am The King« to be released this fall via Majestic Mountain Records.
Pre-order starts this Saturday, August 20th, 2022 with shiping in November!
The band comments: “»I Am The King«, the ‘Vegas Lights’ edition will be available to pre-order, this Saturday (20th August) at 5pm UK time. This will be available to order via our Big Cartel and of course via Majestic Mountain Records.
We will be doing 90 copies of our standard bundle which will include a beer mat, poker chip, plectrums and badges, as well as a poster designed by the master of artwork Shane Horror.
This is the third and final installment of the »Wild Night Trilogy« of EPs so don’t drag your heels, they’ll be snapped up super quick! Physical release is November so grab yourself the perfect stocking filler gift.

»I Am The King« is an electrically eclectic and raucously rowdy slice of filthy rock and roll, dripping with equal parts soul and sleaze. This is a balls to the wall, no nonsense rock and roll gem, brilliantly brash with lashings of psychedelic wonder and grimy, punky disco fever.
The King’s Pistol have taken their already salaciously clever songwriting and unflappably tight musicianship to the next level and beyond with their third offering, boasting a boisterously addictive collection of tracks fit to soundtrack the most debauched of celebrations, unhinged of nights out or just your garden variety, table flipping fist to cuffs down at the local pub.
Expect more of Pistol’s satiny, lyrical pomposity, chunky riffing and stomping Hendrixain interludes, the epically blasting beats from James Farmer on the drums and of course, the man, the myth, the bearded legend, Andy Shardlow’s bombastic bass stylings tying this rousingly volatile little hand grenade into something akin to a giant, ticking time bomb of intoxicatingly thrilling, rollicking rock and roll revelry.
