28 Double is a high-energy, groove-infested hard rock and metal band hailing from Derby, UK. Formed in 2014, the five-piece band spent 12 years building a reputation as a powerful live act across the Midlands rock scene before officially announcing their hiatus and final farewell show.

The band describes their sound as a heavy blend of hard rock, groove, and metal. Their music emphasizes thick guitar riffs, heavy grooves, and high-intensity vocal delivery. 28 Double draw major creative inspiration from artists such as Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry, Clutch, and Down.

After over a decade of headlining regional venues and touring the UK underground circuit, the band announces an amicable hiatus to pursue new personal chapters. They scheduled their farewell show for September 4, 2026 at Dubrek Studios in Derby. They will be supported by Nottingham’s mighty Line Of Fire and Derby’s own Drednaut.
