London, UK based stoner/prog rock band Sleeping Mountain stream their new two-track EP, »Absence«, which was just released on June 1st, 2024.

“Sleeping Mountain is a 70s inspired prog-psy stoner rock band based out of London.”

Sleeping Mountain are a three piece London based rock band. Formed in late 2019, the band currently consist of Aitor Mendez (guitar, keyboards and vocals), David Saunders (bass) and Alexis Humanes on drums.

Their sound can be described as a blend of psychedelic rock blend with a stoner blues sensibility. They play with passion, purpose and a raw positive energy using atypical song structures with the ambition of creating transcendent moments to their audience.

Over the past two years, the band have been writing and rehearsing material and are now available to play gigs and festivals in UK and beyond. They are also busy preparing to record their self-titled debut album which they hope to release in autumn 2024.
