Manchester, UK based stoner punks Scorched Lungs have released new single and music video »Malaise«.

»Malaise« is a gritty belly-down glide into harsh terrain. Ferocious guitars throw you directly into the midst of a sleazy, meandering verse that feels like a grimy rigmarole. The chorus kicks like a martial artist’s elbow to your molars and leaves your mind feeling like it’s been charred.

Scorched Lungs are under the influence of heavy desert rock, punk and metal. Their DIY approach moulds scorching guitar sounds and guttural vocals to produce a rip-roaring landscape of noise, all set against a backdrop of thundering drums.

Influenced by Iggy Pop, Black Sabbath, Queens Of The Stone Age and Viagra Boys, their sound could tear the roof off a Victorian mill. And with those kinds of bands rattling ’round their minds, it was always gonna happen that they’d write some absolute filth.
