Hato Mö is an instrumental psychedelic stoner trio from Montevideo, Uruguay. They love hard, heavy and fuzzy riffs, as much as psychedelic climax and expresive and powerful guitar solos.
The band commented about »Vol. I«:
“Finally, three years later, our debut album is available on all platforms.
It is a visceral, raw, and sincere record – recorded almost entirely live, with some tracks captured in a single take without a click track. It faithfully represents the band’s sound and aesthetic vision from these past years, during which we enthusiastically toured the city’s basements, meeting so many people and sharing unforgettable nights.
We also had the pleasure of inviting our brother, the great Piottogram, to collaborate on the album’s closing track with incredible psychedelic keyboard work that truly elevated the music.

We recommend listening to the whole thing from start to finish – whether while doing something creative like cooking or drawing, or while sharing the moment with friends, smoking a killer joint, and talking about the wonders of love, friendship, self-management, and the infinite, indomitable freedom of nature – something the infamous capitalist system will never be able to crush.
The album was recorded in two sessions between 2023 and 2024; the first was handled by Rodrigo Alvez and Elio Carballo, and the second by Jonathan Musetti and Agustín Rezk Larrosa. Editing, mixing, and mastering were in the hands of Sensei Mateo Flores from Estudio Flores, who showed us infinite patience and managed to turn lead into gold, like a true alchemist.
The cover art was a collaboration between Ilustraciones Rojinegras – who provided beautiful watercolors – and the creative genius QALA, who applied his vision, drawing skills, and digital design to create the final artwork.
All the photos – except for the last one – were taken by Sebastian Almuna, who happened to be visiting the city; he stopped by a rehearsal at Utopia Studio and gifted us those amazing shots. The video was filmed during a wild night at TATÚ 314.
Now it’s up to you to listen to it and let us know what you think.”
