Seattle, WA – Dolstad is the fresh project from guitarist and songwriter Sean Dolstad. After the dissolution for his previous band The Blasts, Dolstad committed to his deeper vision for a release that examines the edges of perception and the truths hidden in plain sight.

The debut album »Waves Of Distortion« dives deep into the affliction of media propaganda and toxic social media platforms spewing lies and deception into our collective consciousness, ultimately dividing our communities and nations where friends become perceived foes in taking sides on everything under the sun. Politicians and grifters are also on the chopping block on this release, seen as the catalysts of discord that gain by severing our connections to our families and neighbors. Many find relief from the pain of these losses through self-medicating to escape from the watching eye of those who manipulate our society through online platforms and entertainment outlets.

Ultimately Dolstad sets the record straight and offers a steadying anchor to reality in these perilous times of government agents, political division, and unsettling feelings of being alone in the world. Throw on your headphones, crank it to eleven and let the distorted waves of existence raise your awareness of your own reality.

»Waves Of Distortion« will release in both physical format and digitally on April 3rd, 2026.
