Lore of the Blood Wars

At the death of the last of the cycle’s suns…chaos ensues. The Katu tribes people have one night to carry out the task of slaying Matulu; the bull mammoth and leader of the Matu horde. For the ritual of Katash Amun must take place with it’s blood and it’s blood alone.

Constant war wages between the Katu and the Matu. The ancient rivalry has carried on for centuries through the generations of the two beings. The Matu thrive only off of the Katu’s blood and flesh. They regenerate and spawn with the blood of Katu while absorbing the spirits of the warriors within it. Matas, blood of the Matu is pure evil made from the black magick of Matiya Aht Ya; the mammoth sungod of death. As the katas, blood of Katu, is mixed with that of matas, it forms makat. This blood hybrid is what the Matu need to survive. Within makat, the souls of fallen Katu are trapped. Matulu possesses makat made only of the strongest Katu warrior spirits. It is that blood which must be claimed by one of the tribe strong enough to defeat him. This act is carried out by Katalu- the stronger of the Katu warriors.

It is written in ancient stone that the blood of Matulu holds great power. Through ritual it can grant the Katu the gift of respite from Matu magick for one full cycle, or “Thry a Matun” (300 suns). If the ritual is carried out correctly, The Katu free the souls of their ancestors and gain strength over their enemies. This task is of great importance for the survival of the Katu. Tonight is the night the ritual must take place. For the dawn of the new blood sun draws near. If the ritual is not complete by first light, the Katu could become forever enslaved by the Matu and drained of their resources to the end of time.

The first story of the Blood Wars… for power, strength and lineage. This record breaks down into 4 parts of a ritual in order for the Katu tribespeople to survive from the Matu horde of mammoths.

1. Intro: Blood War
Intro track reads the lore at hyper speed.

2. Death Of The Sun
Humans wage constant war against mammoths posessed by evil blood magick, culminating in the slaying of the bull mammoth to begin the ritual.

3. Blood Rock: Ritual Of Katāsh Amûn
The warrior bathes in and drinks the blood, reciting an incantation that plunges him into a hallucinogenic state, heightening all senses.

4. Retching Poison: Divide And Purge
A shaman expels the dark spirit, born of the Sun god of death, from the blood hybrid made of evil and fallen warrior souls.

5. Dawn Of The New Blood Sun
Blood-sucking worms are eaten to gain strength, allowing the warrior to rip the tusk from the skull; the tusk is prepared as a pipe and the same worms are smoked at the dawn of the new blood sun; upon exhalation, ancestral spirits are freed and the Matu are kept at bay for another cycle – 300 suns.
