Releasing their second EP in only 4 months, Northern Virginia’s Wizurd Island continues to unveil their brand of 70s-fueled doom rock. Inspired by the pioneering sounds of 1970s hard rock and metal, Wizurd Island’s music channels the heavy atmospherics and dark energy of legends like Black Sabbath, Pentagram, and Blue Öyster Cult.

Recorded at BIAS Studios in Alexandria, VA – on the same old school console used by Pentagram in 1973 to record their first demo – Wizurd Island’s »EP 2« has a vintage feel and explores the subjects of mysticism, the occult, and the surreal.

Composed of singer/guitarist Youssef and bassist Cassie, Wizurd Island seeks to spread their music to as many doom and hard rock fans as they can reach. The year 2025 will not only see the band recording new music for a full-length album, but will also see them playing out as much as possible locally and in the region.
