Droni Eye Omi announce new album, »Thwaites« out on December 11th via Desert Records.

The drone duo return to journey with the listener to Anarctica to explore themes of the melting Thwaites Glacier.

»Thwaites« is the second studio album following their heavy and spacey drone of »Liminal Mass« in 2025.

The drone duo of Brad Frye (Red Mesa) and Ronaldo Baca weave guitars to evoke a cold and watery vibe on »Thwaites« for the lamenting of the “doomsday” galcier.

So many harmonics and colors and orbits and accelerations and explosions…

One take. One moment. No overdubs.
