St. Louis, Missouri based heavy psych/stoner rock duo Free Field share new single and lyric video »Head In A Cloud«, released on June 9th, 2023.

Free Field is a heavy psychedelic stoner rock band hailing from St. Louis, Missouri. The band consists of only two members, Mike Girard and Al Paul, who share a deep passion for creating powerful, mind-bending music that pushes boundaries and challenges the listener. Their music is characterized by heavy riffs, complex rhythms, and psychedelic elements. Al and Mike’s influences include bands such as Black Sabbath, Kyuss, Sleep, and Electric Wizard.

In the summer of 2023, Free Field will be releasing their independent debut album, which they self-produced and recorded at Graveless Studios in St. Louis. The album promises to be a showcase of the band’s unique sound and style, featuring a mix of heavy and trippy tracks that will take listeners on a wild and unpredictable ride.

As Free Field continues to make a name for themselves in the midwest music scene, fans of heavy psych and stoner rock eagerly await the release of their debut album, which is set to cement their status as one of the most exciting new bands in the genre.
