Scuzz is a rowdy instrumental trio from St. Louis, MO that blends punk rock, doom and psychedelic elements into an intoxicating brew of riff-heavy stoner hymns.
In the shadowed realms beyond mortal understanding, where the boundaries between life and death blur, the legend of »A Sword Named Mercy« was born. Eons ago, a cabal of necromancers, driven by insatiable hunger for power, forged the blade in the heart of a dying star. They imbued it with a piece of their own dark essence, rendering it a vessel for the souls of the slain. As the blade was quenched in the blood of a thousand sacrifices, its purpose was twisted to capture and torment the spirits of all it vanquished.
The sword lay dormant for centuries, its power festering, until it was discovered by Scuzz Lord, a notorious rogue with a dark past. Scuzz, once a mere thief and cutthroat, was drawn to the sword by an inexplicable force. Upon gripping its hilt, he was flooded with visions of the countless souls trapped within, their whispers of torment blending with promises of untold power. Unbeknownst to him, the sword was not bound by the laws of reality; it could bend time and space, allowing Scuzz to traverse dimensions and challenge the very fabric of existence.

With each swing of Mercy, Scuzz became more entangled with the sword’s malevolent spirit, his humanity slowly eroded by the cacophony of the damned. The blade, a paradoxical instrument of both suffering and salvation, granted him unparalleled abilities, but at the cost of his soul. He roamed desolate lands and spectral realms, driven by a thirst for redemption and a desire to break free from the sword’s sinister grip. The journey of Scuzz Lord and Mercy is a dark symphony of power and despair, where every battle is a step closer to an uncertain fate, and the only certainty is the sword’s insatiable hunger for souls.
