The band comments: “Our first single and title track for our album »Night Flyer« is now available to listen on all streaming platforms!!

Our next single will release soon and the full album will drop mid August. Our full album is available NOW for preorder digitally and on vinyl. We have a few amazing variants of vinyl available thanks to Wet Records, Wax Mage, and Gotta Groove Records.

Everyone involved in this epic project greatly appreciates your support. Purchasing the album will help us reach more people, continue to grow as a band, and keep the lights on at the Jam Spot! We also encourage you to check out other artists on the label as well, as we are sure they would appreciate the support too!

Above all, we love making music. We love sharing this with you guys. Without help from friends, family, our significant others, Wet Records, Emerald Age Recording, and our amazing friends from P-FUNK, we would not be where we are today.”

Founded by Dave Behar and Shane Croxton just days after the two first met at Electric Audio, Dave’s record/audio shop in Virginia Beach. What started as jam sessions very quickly turned into something serious. Next thing we knew, we stepped into Emerald Age Recording in Vista, California, working alongside some top dogs of the industry, none other than Michael “Kidd Funkadelic” Hampton and his cousin Lige Curry, true Funkadelic alumni! A unique psychedelic sound coupled with the heavy funk driven grooves, a totally new sound was born, and Electric Fly Swatter created their first album.

Dave has known Lige and Mike for longer than Shane has been on this Earth or elsewhere in the universe. Dave started running round with George Clinton and the Funkadelics in the 90s and since then has maintained a lifelong friendship. Once we decided to make the record, Dave thought it would be a good idea to give Mike Hampton a call to see if he would sit in with us. He agreed – one thing led to another, and Lige helped us finish the record. Before we knew it, the album was finished.
