Portland, Oregon based meditative doom duo Breath share a music video for the track »Observer« from their debut full-length album, »Primeval Transmissions«, out on February 5th, 2021 via Desert Records.

Bassist and vocalist Steven O’Kelly comments: “Filming took us to Mt. Tabor, and all along the OR coast with camera operator Sean Steward nearly succumbing to the waves for the perfect shot. This is an experience when mystery crashes through the facades of ephemera. Finding a new Habituation; the awareness seeker. From the shaded forest of your mind, to the briny edge of the Void. The introduction of guitar signals the impending doom of past self, into someone whose found gills for a fluid world. An Observer of unwavering reality.”

Breath is a one of a kind duo from Portland Oregon. Made up of a rhythm section that goes back to 2001. A psychedelic journey delivered by thunderous bass and explosive drums. Meditative Doom Metal creating a sense of forward momentum that builds. The music is informed by adventures leaving the comforts of what was known behind. Going into unknown woods sometimes figuratively and sometimes literally. With heavy melodically driven grooves their Meditation Doom will take you to secluded cave and totemic vision quests.

Breath is:
Steven O’Kelly – Bass, Vocals
Ian Caton – Drums, Auxiliary Percussion

Guest musician:
Rob Wrong (Witch Mountain) – Electric Guitar on »Observer«
