Manchester, New Hampshire based post-metal band the forest forgets is gearing up to release their debut album, »Godweight«, which will see the light on September 18th, 2026.

the forest forgets appeared not by coincidence, but rather as many artistic projects tend to, as a reaction to a stimulus, a critique of the world that the project exists within. The band has found their place making order within chaos, intricate drums lilt and bang, driving forward brutal guitars and bass, all carrying a single message, delivered with a desperate and dejected rage. Within this balancing act of delicate complexity and destruction is where “the forest forgets” find their home, setting them apart, not as just another metal band, but a project to be truly explored.
