Eternal Dialtone unleash hypnotic self-titled debut – a cosmic psych stoner rock journey!
The underground just got a little louder. Psych stoner rock trio Eternal Dialtone have officially dropped their self-titled debut, a mind-bending three-track release that stretches heavy rock into cosmic territory while keeping one boot firmly planted in gritty, blues-soaked doom.
Formed in 2024 by current and former members of Dust Moth, Giza, X Suns, Witchrat, The Bering Sea, and Maxx Shredroom, Eternal Dialtone marks a bold sonic shift from the musicians’ previous projects. The band leans into hypnotic repetition, free-flowing improvisation, and amplifier worship, crafting a sound that nods to the spirit of underground legends while carving out its own strange orbit.
Fans of heavy psychedelic explorers like Earthless, the genre-bending experimentation of King Gizzard, the desert groove of Fu Manchu, and the raw edge of Fugazi will find plenty to sink their teeth into here.

The self-titled release was tracked in a former Catholic church built in the early 1900s, a setting that lends an eerie sense of space and atmosphere to the recordings. The band’s first offering is anchored by a sprawling 13-minute journey driven by swirling riffs, hypnotic rhythms, and evolving sonic landscapes that feel as much like a ritual as a rock song.
Production on the record pulls together some serious Pacific Northwest studio pedigree. The album was engineered by Nicholas Wilbur at The Unknown in Anacortes, mixed by Matt Bayles at The Red Room in Seattle, and mastered by Ed Brooks at Resonant Mastering. The striking cover artwork was created by Steven Yoyada.
Early reactions have already praised the band’s unique approach to heavy music. As Outlaw of the Sun put it, “Eternal Dialtone demonstrates a great style of blues-based cosmic doom into their music.”
The self-titled record is now available on Bandcamp and all major streaming services.
With their debut now unleashed into the world, the band has a simple message for promoters and fans alike.
“Book us!” says the band.
