The Third Eye premieres »Interstellar« off Astral Construct’s »Traveling A Higher Consciousness« out August 25th!

Astral Construct is a fuzz-driven, psychedelic, space ride created by Drew Patricks. He is motivated by a fascination with the possibilities of creating a platform for the listener to get lost and travel to where the music and the mind take them. The music is intended to paint the heavy and the dark as well as the colors that brighten the fringes of the void.

The sophomore album, »Traveling A Higher Consciousness«, continues the theme of space exploration and the sense of isolation but demonstrates a clear progression in the delivery of the message of exploration and escape. Songs such as »Heart Of The Nebula« sculpt a twisting turning journey through time and space with mood changes and tempo swings. »Accessing the Mind’s Eye« starts with a calm, dark build that is punctuated by a double time race to the end and an outro solo that fades out but leaves a deep impression. »Interstellar«, the climax of the journey, takes the listener out on a psychedelic trip to its conclusion.

The music is intended to paint the heavy and the dark as well as the colors that brighten the fringes of the void. The music appeals to a diverse collection of fans who appreciate Pink Floyd, King Buffalo, Elder, Russian Circles, Tool, Rush, and Black Sabbath. The first album, »Tales Of Cosmic Journeys«, was released in 2021 and enjoyed success on internet radio and podcasts such as The Obelisk, Gimme Radio, Monster Riff, The Stoner Witch Sessions, and Fistful of Doom. The album also featured on Rob Hammer’s and MrDoom 666’s YouTube channels. Further, Blind Mouse Visuals created videos for each song from the album which can be seen on his YouTube channel. In early 2022, Aiwass and Astral Construct combined to release »Solis In Stellis« which was released as a fundraiser for the National Scleroderma Foundation.
