US sludge/death metal act Bloodroot released fifth full-length album this year; »Scorched« available now on all major streaming platforms!

Blythewood, South Carolina based one-man sludge/death metal band Bloodroot is back with another album, titled »Scorched«, which dropped on October 4th, 2024. »Scorched« is follow up to previous release »Soulless Decay« (August 31st, 2024) and is their fifth full-length album this year.

Sludge/death metal band from Blythewood, South Carolina formed in 2021, when an idea to mix two subgenres was born with the creation of Bloodroot. However, the band had many troubles with several line-up changes and no output for the first year. Joe Henning is the current and only member of Bloodroot.

Bloodroot has endured many hardships but will continue to release music to those who find the style appealing.
