Denver, Colorado based stoner/doom metal band Planet Lazarus presents their debut full-length album, »Galactic Takeover«, which was just released on April 20th, 2024.

Planet Lazarus, a stoner doom band rooted in traditional heavy metal, was founded in 2021 by Steven Rizzuto Jr, A.J. Rothermel, and Hilton Cruz in Denver, CO. Drawing inspiration from iconic bands like Black Sabbath, Pagan Altar, Thin Lizzy, Bang, and Witchfinder General, this quartet combines harmonizing Sabbathian riffs with a doomedelic groove, crafting face-melting tunes that evoke the spirit of 70’s rock and roll and 80’s traditional doom metal. Their debut single, »The Wicked & The Wise«, is already available, with a full-length album titled »Galactic Takeover« on the horizon.

Says the band: “It’s finally here!! Our debut album »Galactic Takeover« is now available on all streaming platforms and Bandcamp. This album has been in the making for 2 years and we’re stoked we can finally release it for all of you to hear. Self produced by our drummer A.J.
