“There was this idea. The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, to see if they could become something more.”
Bassist Scot Fithen comments: “About 2 years ago, what would become Howl At The Sky started with the above in mind (thanks Nick Fury). The last 7 months were focused on recording our album »In Line For The End Times«. It culminated with last night’s release show at the always inspiring The Southgate House Revival. It was clear from the moment we arrived, this was going to be something special. Amongst a packed house, incredible original music was performed. I could write an entire essay on why you owe it to yourself to check out Blessed Black and Smoke Healer, two of this city’s best orginal bands, but that’s a story for another day and IYKYK. They killed it and I’d be lying if I wasnt a little concerned about having to follow them…especially Brad and Brooke.
There is something absolutely magical and surreal about being able to share what you love with an audience and they reciprocate 1000%. My ears are still ringing. Add to it that many in that audience were our peers, and more specifically musicians that I admire, and it just makes it even more awesome. Did I shed some tears? You bet your ass.
I can never say thank you enough to all of you that have supported us and followed us on our journey so far.

Hailing from Cincinnati, OH, Howl At The Sky is a two-fisted, bare knuckle brawl of riffs, melody, and lyrics that hit below the surface…and occasionally the belt. Drawing from elements of hard rock, grunge, thrash, stoner and classic metal to create their own sound, they’re at once familiar, but unlike anyone else. Fuzzy. Dirty. Loud. Rock N Roll. Howl At The Sky.
