Explosive Swansea-based noise rock and experimental sludge outfit Mines has released their live album, »Live I«, on October 23rd, 2026.

Recorded and performed during an intense session in August 2025, »Live I« captures the raw, uncompromising energy that has made the band a formidable force in the UK underground music scene. The album serves as a definitive sonic document of the band’s early era, featuring blistering live performances of tracks spanning their first two EPs and their first singles.

Known for their devastating fusion of abrasive noise rock, sludge textures, and experimental structures, Mines delivers a heavier, more visceral reimagining of their studio material on this release. These recordings strip away any studio safety nets, leaving listeners with a monolithic wall of sound, tectonic basslines, and chaotic, driving rhythms.

»Live I« is now available on all major digital streaming platforms.
