US stoner/desert rock trio Leash (feat. Zac Crye from Hudu Akil) share new single and music video »Leash« taken from their debut EP, »SIT«, which just dropped on May 1st, 2026.

Leash is a brand new band from Hudu Akil’s guitarist and vocalist Zac Crye.

“»SIT«, is a four-song ep with the same aggressive attitude as Hudu Akil but with a bit more punk/desert sensibilities with quick three and four-minute tunes, fast-paced and full of hooks; even touching on nu-metal tones at times. It’s a 15-minute exhale after a 6-year long botched album cycle.

It really feels good to just be able to share some music with everyone that I feel meets a quality standards production-wise that I didn’t have to come out of pocket for. The implications of this are huge. This means we can release more music more frequently by cutting out the studio middle man.
Not saying we won’t continue to work in nice, fancy studios, but the barrier to entry for us has been knocked down a bit.”
